  Engage ALL Students through Practical Differentiation Strategies, Grades K-12  
  Diverse classrooms can work - IF teachers are prepared with practical methods and strategies for differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners. In this session, the presenter will share a simple approach to differentiation, based on research, that can be used across grade levels and content areas. But more importantly, the participants will learn dozens of creative instructional strategies that work for struggling students, gifted students, and all the students in inclusive classes!  
  Co-Teaching that Works! Grades K-12  
  Co-teaching is a proven instructional approach for reaching the wide range of student needs in today's inclusive classrooms. This workshop will provide you with clear descriptions of the myriad of co-teaching styles you have to choose from and help you plan your first step for getting started (or refining the approach you are already using.) The presenter will share practical ways for defining your roles, planning for and providing instruction that works, and tips for maximizing the value of each team member. There will also be an emphasis on creative, yet time-efficient instructional strategies that lend themselves beautifully to the co-taught classroom.  
  Making Inclusion More Successful, Grades K-12

  Wow 'em Workshops: Developing Powerful Presentation Skills  
  Develop your in-district talent with this one or two-day session designed to develop powerful presentation skills. Anne will guide participants in understanding key differences in adult learners, effective methods for engaging and sustaining adult participation, avoiding common mistakes in presenting, and creative ideas for workshops that "wow'em!" A two-day session will allow participants to work with Anne fleshing out the details of an upcoming training session.  
  Collaborative Consultation Skills for Special Educators and Related Professionals  
  Working closely with other educators poses immense benefits... and can pose immense challenges. Special educators and related professionals often find themselves in the position of providing information, suggestions and specific direction to colleagues who may be reluctant (or resistant!) Participants in this workshop will walk away with an understanding of the process of change, reasons adults may be resistant, and strategies for overcoming resistance. In addition, Anne will share the most effective steps for collaborative problem solving, model difficult collaborative consultation scenarios and guide participants in practicing their new skills.
